Halifax ERA are pleased to announce Ellis Nuttall has signed a 12 month contract with Leeds Rhinos and has already started training with the u19s. A former King Cross junior, Ellis joined Halifax ERA in September 2015 and was named captain at the start of this season.
Dakota Whylie and Archie Andrade will also be training with the Rhinos having started a 12 week placement that will see them train with the u19s. Despite only 6 months at Halifax ERA they have both shown enough potential to be given the opportunity.
It caps a good couple of weeks off for Andrade who was selected for the Scotland Students squad that will go to the World Cup in Australia later in the year. Archie was brought to Halifax ERA’s attention by Global Rugby League Academy who helped Archie make the move from Aberdeen Warriors to Halifax.
Dakota Whylie is an Old Brodleians RUFC junior and former Brooksbank High School student who scored a hat trick at Wembley in the Champion Schools Final.
Halifax ERA would like to thank Leeds Rhinos staff Simon Bell, Jonny Wainhouse and Adrian Morley for their professionalism and ongoing support.
